Post by: Rohaise on March 14, 2007, 12:57:53
Hi  all  !    :)    I have just spent a good hour or so weeding the Onion bed .                       Am I right in thinking , that I can sow lettuce seeds in between the onions ?
If so ......can I do this now ?      Thankyou Rohaise

I think I would start the lettuce up in cells and germinate them in warm conditions then transplant them.

I think the ground will still be a bit cool!

At least this way the soil will have warmed up a bit by the time you are ready for transplanting.
