Why would that be?
Isn't it a bit early??
Perhaps it's because of the crazy, messed up weather. Some of mine have started doing the same thing. Poor little plants are all confused. Don't know if they're coming or going!
Birds had the best ones and now some of they are flowering so may not get any at this rate.
I've got green fly i think they are on my kale i noticed today which surprized me better treat my broad beans or they will have black fly in no time.
Lovely weather though. :)
I've got white fly after my poor cabbages, but birds only managed to attack ne of them! Ha! Weather is definitely creating chaos. Saw first bees and wasps last weekend - is far far too early for them. Bless them!
Butterfly in the garden today & fly buzzing round in the car.
Driving around Derby I've noticed most of the Magnolias are breaking bud and flowering which is normally early MAY !!!!!!!!
:-\
Round here (SE London) the magnolias are in full flower, as are the camelias and the daffs, and some of the weeds on my lottie haven't stopped growing all winter!
Cheers,
Rob ;)
I would guess they have moved (been disturbed) in the high winds.
This will have caused 'root rock' and this will have checked them causing them to bolt when they established themselves again.
My magnolia is in full flower - I shall try & post a pic.
mine have as well and they have all been slugged
