Hi everyone. I am not in the habit of posting personal stuff on this forum but there is an exception to every rule. I thought you might like to see a couple of pictures of my granddaughter who was born on 8 March. She's in a papoose which was knitted for her by Sarah and which arrived a couple of days after Sarah was admitted to Thorpe Hall. Sadly Sarah didn't get to see the 'baybee' as she always called her but I think she'd approve. :) I've sent the pictures to Will of course. G x

Georgie, lovely pictures, thanks for sharing them. kitten x
Beautiful.
Georgie that is beautiful. Sarah would be so thrilled to see the photo I am sure. She was such an amazing person, stories about kindnesses she has done for people keep coming to light, she did so much... :)
Many congratulations to you and the proud parents.
That is really beautiful. Two precious things in one photograph. How lovely for babes to have something so special from someone so special.
Congratulations to you and your family on your beautiful baybee granddaughter.

wonderful pictures, Georgie, I agree with jeannine, this baybee has a special person looking out for her, :-\ :)
How lovely Georgie! Congratulations! The baby is gorgeous and how special to have the papoose made by Sarah. busy_lizzie
Just lovely, Georgie. Beautiful baby and a beautiful papoose from a beautiful person. Thanks for showing us.
Georgie. I am privileged to have already received a photo of "babyee" but I am sure this photo will always be a special one. Once again congratulations.
Love Lorna.
;D ;D ;D ;D
Speechless with delight!
Two very beautiful things!
Georgie, I'm so thrilled, on both counts. She's ravishing, and I love her papoose, particularly its pompom. Thanks for posting this.
Two questions:
1) Is that papoose as soft as it looks?
2) Can I hug the hoodie?
x
Thinking of you, and your girl, and her girl.
Triff
Thanks everyone.
Oh Triff, you do make me laugh, hug the hoodie indeed. ;D
The papoose is very soft because it's made from merino wool. It feels more like fine cotton than wool. :)

Oh yes please.I would love to hug this hoodie, wonderful idea,God Blees wee hoodies XX Jeannine
;D @ Georgie.
'S what we're here for, to make each other laugh!
Am doing my best to imagine snuggling up to crumply little newborn hoodie in her softer-than-down merino wrapping.
Mmmmmmmm ;D
A most fitting tribute Georgie-another of Sarah`s talents, I remember it like yesterday that she was here for lunch and her and Jenny rabbiting on about knitting.
What a talented lady Sarah was. Thanks for sharing that with us Georgie. Baybee is adorable! Congratulations granny! ;)
What a special photograph - thanks for posting it
Love to babe
Both Baybee and papoose are gorgeous!
Big gulp coming on here !
xxxxx
Georgie thank you so much for sharing the story with us, you have a very gorgeous granddaughter who is modelling Sarahs work beautifully :-* :-*
It really does look a gorgeous garment, what a talented woman Sarah was xxxxxx
Such a shame that Sarah didnt get to see this picture :'(
The baby and papoose are so lovely. Sarah was so special. I had only known her for a few weeks and she sent my grandkids some ornamental sweetcorn seed. On the card she said "I just couldn't resist it". That say's it all doesn't it.
Choked up!
Beautiful papoose and gorgeous baby.
Thanks G.
you'll treasure both forever
Lovely to see your beautiful grandaughter in her cosy papoose. Sarah was certainly so very talented.
Congratulations to you all.
