Post by: OliveOil on March 12, 2007, 19:10:51
I have 5 rows of different toms in a seed tray = approx 8 seeds per row.

4 of the rows have come up and are about an inch high - do i take the lid off the seed tray now?

what do i do - when do i prick thm out into pots?

btw they are on my windowsill - not greenhouse

This is my first time iwth toms!

I would take the lid off now. Don't pot up until they have developed at least the first set of proper leaves, and when you pot up, if they are a bit "leggy", plant them deeper, so that the leaves are just above the surface.

Only a few days hopefully. Mine have just been potted up but are still leaning towards the light- think I may have to risk puting them in my grenhouse soon.
