This Toby, he has a thing about water,I din't show you the one were he is the lefeguard while I am in the bath
XX Jeannine
So it's not only my softy cat Max who sleeps in the bathroom sink who likes water then....... ;D
I have company in the bath too Jeannine, as soon as I start running the water he is there like a shot.... He too loves to drink his water straight from the tap, they are funny. :) :)
Awwwww, that is one tiny little cutie! ;D
Jeannine, he looks just like my cat Biscuit ( it was the kids, don't blame me) She also loves water and drinks out of the tap. Maybe it's the black and white thing?
Also have you noticed that the black bits are sleek, but the white bits fluffy? ;D
I think that cos he is wet,XX Jeannine
No I mean normally, when they're dry. ;D On my cat her white fur is fluffy and her black fur is sleek. Very odd.
Very very odd, pictures would be great XX Jeannine
Minna -our little cat is just the same! Follows me to the bathroom every evening , jumps in the bath to wait for the water to run in, jumps out - then usually checks the toilet and then whilst I have a bath , either sits in the sink or sits on the edge of the bath and if I'm really lucky will divebomb my feet through the bubbles. Getting dried is a nightmare as she sometimes hangs on to the towel!! I suppose if I really minded that much I would shut her out, but...................!!
Well that sound familiar !! XX Jeannine
I had a black & white cat years ago who did just the same thing - he would sit on the edge of the bath while I was in it then as soon as I got out he would dive in & do a couple of lengths! :)
Can't stop laughing.Toby isn't in to breast stroke, well not yet anyway .XX Jeannine
Go on give him a little nudge. :)
No.... he has just got a girlfriend, 7 months,we brought her home a few weeks ago, she follows him everywhere. XX Jeannine
My previous cat started weeing in the bath at night when I first got him.
I suppose he thought it was a big litter tray. ::)
To stop this, I put an inch of water in the bath one night and waited.
I heard a splash then a lot of scrambling about.
He learnt his lesson and never went for a wee in there again. :D
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Did the same thing to Biscuit when she decided the bath was giant litter tray. Hee hee. Now she just sits in it waiting for a drip so she can pounce!
My cat Max (Archies brother) proving the comfiest place is either in the sink, or waiting to pounce on you in the shower!?
I have no idea why these were taken in black and white, our digital camera has a mind of its own.....

What is it about cats and cold sinks - trying to write this with one finger -the cat is perched on the other shoulder, she wants her bathtime / bedtime routine!
what a gorgeous cat. he looks like he rules the roost ;D
He is Mr Softy, very sweet natured, puts up with anything, kids carrying him around like a furry teddy!
He is brother to Archie, who is almost the opposite, altogether more shy and fearfull and whom I'm pretty sure has been hurt by humans at some previous point in his life. Both adopted brothers seem very happy with us now though!
