Title: Lots of work done on the plot - neat, tidy and organised
Post by: Chris Graham on March 10, 2007, 17:14:30
Well the rain stayed off so I managed a lot today.

Re-planned where things are going and planted more carrots on the greenhouse and the first set have started to grow.

Also tried out my enviromesh area for outdoor carrots. Carrot fly (i hope) wont be a problem now ;)

My Rocket potato has started to grow too.

Didn't plant my onion sets yet but set out the guide strings.

It does look very neat, tidy and organised, Chris.
I've spent 4 hours this morning on my plot covering the manure, put in a row of Kestrel potatoes, shallots and some lettuces which had overwintered in my coldframe as well as a bit of general housekeeping. Plum tuckered out now.

Wish my plot was that organised.

After today, it looks like a bomb has gone off in it.

Trying to tell myself it is organised chaos  ::)

Well done

Well done chris, it is very neat  :o  ;D appeals to my obsessive compulsive tendencies!  And lucky you with that lovely big greenhouse.

We didn't get to the plot today but I have managed to sort my seeds into some kind of planting order (there are so many i should have started off by now  :o ) and are planning on doing a good few hours there tomorrow.

Happy growing!

Looking good Chris, one tiny suggestion, if you put the compost bin the other side of the tree it would give you a bit more growing space.   ;D ;D ;D

You grow your butternut squash in pots? Do they do well that way, I've tried growbags before, no luck!
