Is it ever going to stop raining????
This is the wettest winter for at least 5 years here in Sussex, it is like a bog out there!

I was thinking that today too Jerry! My garden slopes slightly so not too bad but I can actually measure it by the number of football matches my boys have had cancelled and it certainly has never been so many. It is just a shame that it is always then too wet to get out in the garden. I wish they could be cancelled on dry days... :(
I know, my plot is almost at the bottom of a hill and after I dug a shallow ditch to make a new brick path a few days ago, yesterday it was full of water! Plus the old well at the back of the plot was completely full...I'm expecting a flood soon... :(
Of my two allotments, one is at the bottom of a hill and very wet indeed. I dare not go onto it at all at the moment, far too wet to dig and will need a good two weeks of dry weather before it is ready to work.
The other plot is at the top of the site and drier but not much!
The garden at home is again at the base of a hill and the lawn is sodden and I have standing water in the bottom beds!

Tell me about it!
We finally manged to get out on Sat to finish clearing the ground for the shed. I'm pencilling in Sunday the 11th to put it up but no doubt it'll be raining then too.
