I have cleared my one bed for this year and my strawberry patch. Thanks for all your help and advice over past few months as I've been getting ready to go allotmenteering.
I'm sure i'll have loads more questions as I go on and am quite nervous now that everything I plant will just die! :P
Thanks to sally_cinnamon for teaching me how to use glittermaker!

Virtual glitter: Maybe I should show my kids too. I'm fed up with real glitter all over the house!
Once you get going Emmy It'll be a breeze, just remember not everthing will be a success, highs and lows, my parsnips were great ;D last year whats to say this year will be the same. All my Chinese cabbages bolted :'( last year, this year they may be great. Thats the beauty of allotmenting , good luck and happy digging. ;D ;D ;D
I've been feeling like that every year for the last 32 years, emmy..you get used to it, that and the excitement ;D
Emmy - this is a fabulous site isnt it... I joined in June ish last year just before i got my plot and everyone has been wonderful... just to name a few names... Tim, SS, Robert Benchley, Steve Partridge, Prink, Dorris Pinks, EMaggie, ummmmm ummmm am sure i have left some people out... but anyway there really are some fabulous people on here who really motivate us all. Even newcomers are fabulous... thinking of Jeannie here with her wonderful different 'beans' etc.
Yes Olive. ;D It's brilliant having a place where everyone understands how you can get excited about seeds sprouting or manure! ;)
