Congratulations EJ. We kinda missed our first due to our baby being born 3 days before so that was a good excuse. Just have to decide what to get out of paper, cotton or china. What has a cartoon got to do with a 10th wedding anniversary?

Congratulations EJ ;D!

My 16th this year!!! And looking at your list reminds me...

A mate of mine's 5th anniversary was coming up. He saw it was wood and gave his wife a single match, his reasoning being that it was made of wood and it represented them - the perfect match! Astoundingly, she thought this was a romantic gesture... :o :o

Cheers,
Rob ;)

Awww...that is romantic....in a way...... ::)

Thanks everyone.  The only people that remembered are my darlings folks.  I don't remind anyone in the family, I know how unimportant I am.  However, my love remembered, and so long as I am important to him, who cares!  ;D

Not going out, the pennies are rather few and far between at the moment, so I am cooking a nice supper and we will open a bottle of red.

We don't do anniversary pressies...to soon after Christmas, and to close to daughters birthday so money is used elsewhere.

A very Happy Anniversary EmmaJane and Mark.  Many congratulations and have a lovely romantic meal tonight!  This afternoon I have  been making the second wedding cake in the trio for my daughters wedding in May.  Someone else is icing it, thankfully. My OH and I have been married 37 years in Novembers which is quite scary as it seems such a long time, but has gone over in a flash. Have a happy evening! love busy_lizzie  :-*

Happy Anniversary Emma and Mark, hope you have many, many more.
On our Ruby I climbed the Statue of Liberty (scary metal stairs)
On our 50th we had a really big family, friends party (Didn,t know it would be the last time whole family would be together)
BUT
I slipped up on 45th. Missed that one :o ;D
Hope you are having a lovely evening.
Lorna.

Congratulations!!!

Hope you have a lovely evening.

I see our's doesn't have a 'category' this year. It will be our 17th. (I was a child bride  ;))

It was my mum and dad's golden wedding anniversary last year. 50 years. We booked them a holiday in Ibiza in a 'Gold' hotel. Hotel matched the anniversary, plus there were no kids there either  ;).

Super congrats to you both,I hope you have as super time. Mine is a bit odd.I married my husband in my teens, we  divorced in my 20s and married him again  about 15 years later in my 30s, So it is hard to figure out what my anniversary is. 1959 to now would give me 48. 1979 to now would give me 28. If I add up the total years married both times  and leave out the 13 year gap I only get about 35.Last year after years of forgetting he actually did remember, both times was April(11th and 13th) when  I got flowers delivered to work on the 11th,I nearly fell off my chair, on the 12th I got more, the card read in case I have made a mistake  and the third lot said just making sure. I think I will keep him!!

have a super day XX Jeannine

We've just had our 25th. We celebrated by going on our first holiday without the children. It was great! Unfortunately, there are no specials now till our 30th :(. I will have to make some up, like

26th anniversary........Spanish Holiday
27th anniversary........Fridge with automatic ice cubes and crushed ice
28th anniversary........Get round to doing all those little jobs your wife nags you about
29th anniversary........Buy your wife a smallholding

30th would be quite an anti climax then ::)

cj :)
