Title: scam on ebay watchout
Post by: Hot House on February 25, 2007, 21:39:13
Got a question for one of my items from the following eBay user:

User id: cl2086

Hello,
My name is Philipa Hanford.

I just saw this item of yours and I remember seeing the same item two days ago, take a look:

Watch out - apparently this person tries to hack your account.

They give you a link to the supposed other item but and it tries to get you to sign in to what looks like a legit signing in page but its not. You sign in and they get your account details.

I get this rubbish on a daily basis. If it's eBay I forward it to spoof@sbay.com , if it's paypal, to spoof@paypal.com .
