Hello, I am sorry if this subject has been covered elsewhere, I couldn't find it though.
We live in a small village with a lot of cottages with very small gardens. A couple of us are trying to find out how we start the process of obtaining some land for allotments. I am sure if there were some allotments it would be well supported and I think it would provide a useful amenity in a village without a shop, pub or anything :-\
Any advice for taking those first steps would be gratefully received, thanks :D
You will need a minimum of 6 people in your area who want an allotment. The council are supposed to provide where feasable providing a minimum of 6 want one. Anything less and they dont have to consider the application. Once you get your list, make your application.
Thanks for the info, I will let you know how it goes ;)
No pub, Jesus Christ sounds like hell. ;D ;D ;D ;D
