Just found that I had left ALL my seeds in the 'potting shed' over the winter.
All the beany things had been eaten by mice & the rest are probably too dampened to germinate.
A costly lack of thought!
Ditto. Carefully dried and forgotten sunflower heads fine until a fortnight ago when the mice invaded the shed and stripped all the seeds.
Got my own back though - queue murderous manaical laughter.
Hi Tim,
Really sorry to hear that. I've got spare seed - too many varieties to type here but think could PM you a list as a file attachment (failing that e-mail). PM me if I can help.

PS I was lucky - only left 4 packets in the shed -all now unusable.
hi tim,
i'm sorry you've lost all your seeds. why don't you write a wish list of everything you've lost and we'll see what we can do to get you going again. i'm sure loads of people would like to help you out. x
Typical brilliant A4A response!!
I'm going to try everything out before I go onto the street. Miracles do happen!
I've got some spares here Tim. ;D ;D ;D
Me too Tim, get that wish list on! ;D
I'm not quite as bad Tim; I sowed some sweet peas last week in cell trays each variety seperately labelled.
What did I do? Yes!!! I knocked them over and quite few of them had germinated.
Well I just re-potted them and will just consider them to be 'mixed' batch. >:( and to think I went to the extra expense of of buying by variety rather than a mixture!! :'(
Ah well I suppose they will just look the same in a vase!! ;D
That can be a pain in the Vase TG. ;D ;D ;D ;D
You could join in the next 'pass the parcel' Tim - see the swap shop for details. I've also got spare seeds I'm happy to pass on.
G x
Thanks again. You'all will be the first to know!
And TG - see my post on 'chitting' - 2 years ago I fell down a flight of stairs with those.
Could I match up the spuds? Your guess!!
Tim, do please post up a wish list. You'll have it granted in no time. :)
