4. ? Escalonia? :-\
5. Choisyia ternata (I have one of these, just come into flower). :)
Let me know if i am right and what No.4 is as i am not sure. :-\

1 ??? (either tree? - yellow one looks lile forsythia bit I know it isnt! Sophora perhaps?)
2 Lilac
3 Kerria japonica
4 ?? (baffled flowers are fuschia like, but its too early for them and the foliage isnt right. Leaves look a bit Azalea- like ?)
5 Rhododendron/azalea
Not so good this time Richard ::) Only No. 2 & 3 correct -
1 = Hawthorn & Laburnum
4 = Crinodendron hookerianum
5 = Rhododendron
I had to get a Crinodendron, saw them growing in abundance at Trebah Gardens in Cornwall a few years ago, absolutely glorious.

You got me there. Never heard of a Crinodendron (until now that is). I see the laburnum for what it is not you tell me ;). I am supposed to know that they look like ;D
