Not quite right Richard
1. Bluebells growing underneath the rhododendron
2. Rhododendron the bluebells are growing under
3. Obviously Pansies
4. Azalea (the photo does not really do it justice, it is a really bright pink.
5. Choiysa

8 out of 10 Richard ;D

I will probably post some more soon, just to test you again ;) :)

1 ??? (either tree? - yellow one looks lile forsythia bit I know it isnt! Sophora perhaps?)
2 Lilac
3 Kerria japonica
4 ?? (baffled flowers are fuschia like, but its too early for them and the foliage isnt right. Leaves look a bit Azalea- like ?)
5 Rhododendron/azalea

Not so good this time Richard ::)  Only No. 2 & 3 correct -
1 = Hawthorn & Laburnum
4 = Crinodendron hookerianum
5 = Rhododendron

I had to get a Crinodendron, saw them growing in abundance at Trebah Gardens in Cornwall a few years ago, absolutely glorious.

Crikey Pat.

You got me there. Never heard of a Crinodendron (until now that is). I see the laburnum for what it  is not you tell me   ;).  I am supposed to know that they look like  ;D
