Title: spawn already

on sunday i noticed the pond alive with frogs spawning , have loads of frog spawn and am sure this is the earliest they have ever spawned , i am in the south west and it is very mild , just seems very early , does anyone else have spawn yet

Sheltered garden in Manchester here, and we have a small dollop of frogspawn. They've not produced the full amount yet, though..

I'm in the south west, and Ive had spawn since the 11th Feb, couldn't believe my eyes I hope we don't get a cold spell other wise they might freeze.

Mm, ours have now been frantically bouncing around the pond for a few days now. They're so loud we can hear them when we're indoors with doors/windows closed. It sounds like we have a small lion at the bottom of the garden.

Hope we don't get any more frosts.. :/

No spawn here-well no frogs for three years now since the grass snakes invaded the village >:(.

But what I used to do was make `hotels` from those big plastic boxes and keep them and some early spawn in the greenhouses.

Some frogs stayed and lived in the houses-until the snakes

I've seen frogs happily spawning with ice on the pond; a bit of frost won't bother them.
