He brought in a whole uncooked steak through the catflap this evening. :D
Anybody would think I don't feed him. ::)
Here he is having a snooze after scoffing it.

what a beautiful cat, such a lovely colour, our cat used to turn over like that, if you tried to scratch her belly, she used to sink her teeth and claws in to you, she was a right little horror ;D
looks like he enjoyed the steak, though
My friend's cat once brought home a perfectly cooked & untouched leg of lamb one Sunday lunchtime ;D
He looks like he enjoyed it! Our neighbours kittens keep coming and eating the bird seed, it can't really be that good for them so I am having to take it in at night now.

Maybe the kittens have a cunning plan to get friendly with the birds, then eat them!
He looks just like one of my boys!
I have three red tabby toms, one sleeps on his back just like that, looks like a furry teddy! Soft as soap....would eat anything he could nick or catch too.! ;D
Not a pet person so don't normally come in here but it read like someone had stolen your cat Deb... pleased to see it is just Six dinner Sid Syndrome...
;D

I love that book!
My cat Jack looked just like Sid. He didn't nick food, but he did used to get into my neighbour's house and sleep in her airing cupboard if she left the door open ;D Lovely and toasty warm!
Tabbycat
Mine and the kittens next door are all black too. They both appear when I call mine in for the night, hoping they are going to be allowed in too, bless. Or to ambush ours so he can't get in, I am not sure which...
Our vet has just retired but he hadn't read Six Dinner Sid but has lots of stories the same. Even a cat who he reunited with its owner six months after it disappeared because it was taken to be chipped. If I had known he was retiring I would have bought him the book as a present. :)
He is lovely. Mine used to beg outside McDonalds. He was an enormous fat ginger about four times the size of yours. I remember with joy the neighbours little girl knocking on the front door to tell us he had just pushed her off her bike to get at her crisps.
I really, really miss that cat.
;D ;D ;D @ Hex. What a character!
We had a siamese some years ago and we used to fing pork scratching packets all over the garden. One day I was talking to the neighbour over the back and she informed me that she had started a little business. Packing pork scratchings in her garage. Well of course i told her didn't I. ........NOT
Butter wouldn't melt eh!!!! what a stunning cat, no house should be without mischievous cats!!! ;)
I quite agree biscome ;D ;D ;D
Ours is a little monkey (bless her) but she hasn't started thieving from the neighbours ... yet! She does come running from miles away tho' when we shake the treats packet ;D
Any sight of an irate neighbour looking for their tea?
No garden should be without a cat.... well we can't grow meat anyother way....
::)
I bought an electric paper shredder today, and he was fascinated by the paper going in.
He's easily amused. ;D

Made me laugh - our Daisy (the real tabbycat) is fascinated by the paper coming
out of our printer. She keeps peering into it & trying to catch the cartridge as it moves back and forth. :)
Oh he is adorable. I wouldn't denie him a juicy steak...he hunted it down all by himself! ;D
I had a petite ginger tabby when I was a kid. She disappeared. :(
my ginger cat dublin got so accomplished at stealing food from our neighbor and his cat that i bought him an electronic cat flap!
and just the other night i caught bear-cat and squirrel (the terrier) playing tug of war........
with a whole shoulder of lamb!
fair enough it was for the animals but it was for all 3 dogs and 5 cats tea's not just the 2 of them.
My Gran had a cat that used to steal cucumbers form the neighbours :o
We have a cheeky blue Somali. She is gorgeous (and knows it!) but actually appeared one hot August day a few years ago complete with hot sausage off someone's BBQ. My fiance tried taking it off her but she wouldn't let him! ;D
What with that and her bringing in live mice and birds that have been long dead and slightly bigger than her, she amuses us a great deal! :)
Sarah
;D ;D All these asbo cats, I'll remember to keep my dogs well away, they're only little... ;D
