We did pass a hunt a couple of miles up the road - think thats why they were on the move.
That would explain a lot. when i was a young girl i saw a deer cornered in the carpark of a pub by a hunt. the noise was fearful and i have never seen such a frightnened animal. isnt hunting banned now?
We they're not allowed to actually chase and kill somthing with the hounds - but i here there are loads of way around it... I doubt they were actually after the Deer anyway, more likely a fox (or a some poor ploke legging it about with a smelly rag).
Hmmm. I have deduced where you went for your spuds, keef. Would it have been C.G.C. in W.....e?
Sherlock Holmes.
every time i drive down the a4 the bit between Theale and Thatcham i count at least half a dozen lovely to watch :) i was working there a week back and there was a red kite flying over head shame i didn't have my camera :(

If you come just a few miles north into the Downlands, we have gazillions of red kites now. :)
