Title: I ache
Post by: Multiveg on May 03, 2004, 21:34:06
Spent the whole afternoon working on the compost heap - lovely compost, but hubby didn't bring down the spade for ages, so I had to shovel it into the sieve using a 3-pronged fork. Still not finished dealing with the one compost heap, but I feel I have achieved things today.

Bad husband!  Hope you punished him suitably  ;)

Isn't home made compost just the best - it has reminded me I really need to empty my two bins at home and get it out on the ground, especially now we have had all this 'lovely' rain  >:( so that the thick layer can preserve the moisture (like we need to do that at the moment!  >:( >:()

Piddled down nearly all day here yesterday, but at least Ava got the shed up and I have the cleanest house in this part of Essex  :-\

You should have seen the composts they had on display at The Centre for Alternative Technology and what compost they have for the flower borders  :o They also have a straw bale ideal for liquid personal waste. It is well worth a visit. Apparently, this week is National Composting Week and I got an extra 10% off 2 books on composting.
