Now the hoover is working again.

Just stood in the queue behind a guy who's clearly "cooking" a meal for his OH. He was buying:

ready-made "posh" mash (well, we were in Waitrose  ;))
ready-made oven-roast med veg
ready-made stuffed chicken pieces
a tub of Ben & Jerry ice-cream
a bottle of champagne
a bunch of red flowers

it did make me smile - he'd ticked all the boxes on the "Valentine Dinner" list :)

Mine gave me a box of chocs and 2 cards!  He always does, then denies all knowledge.  :-*  I don't really like him spending cash on cut flowers, that is why I grow them on the allotment.  ;D  Tonight we are having chilli chicken with tortillas, salad and bottle of champs.

Course, he isn't home yet so he might come in clasping a huge bucket of roses and a peach tree for the garden!

My dozen red roses have obviously gone to the wrong address.

Again.

They have done every Valentine's Day for the last 44 years.

Do you think I should complain to somebody?

If so, who to - (or to whom - if you're a pedantic type)?

(Is my Punk Chew Asian OK?)

I had box of chocolates and very large bouquet of flowers delivered - it is my birthday as well.
My son is away skiing and it dawned on OH he had not organised our son with regards to card or anything for me. Son is good as rang me this morning without any prompting.
However received call from a teacher this evening to inform me he has injured his knee, not serious apparently but local Doctor has put knee brace on mainly as a precaution, but of course he will not be able to do any more sking unfortunately.

At least I got a card and only because 'do you or don't you 'was discussed at a dinner on Saturday and in front of 8 people BW claimed he always
gives me a valentines card. What a load of cobblers!! ::) so he had to really, didn't he............
He's one of the "if you don't know I love you after 34 years then it's a poor do" brigade ::) ::)
