At least the heat is up a bit this morning. He was doing this in a virtually frozen bath last weekend.

Fab pics MrsKP funnily enough I was stood watching 2 sparrows having a bath only 5 mins before finding your thread.
They are braver than me, I certainly wouldn't want to bathe outside today :o

Great pics of Mr R. Its really strange, I have 3 baths dotted round my garden but never see them taking a bath in them. Maybe they just to be dirty up here!!!! :o :o
this is the first year i've actually seen robins bathing Carol. usually it's the sparras, but he's done it a few times now.
He's up there standing proud on the shepherd's crook (which holds the bird feeders) atm. Standing guard !
Mine are the same Carol, dirty Essex birds. ;D ;) ;D

My robin likes to take a bath now and then but its definitely the sparrows that have the most fun in my bird bath :)

chuffed ! have been digging under the hedge this morning and Mrs R joined in with Mr R to see what I'd unearthed.
