(OH says I am beginning to sound like Carol Klein(?)....
;D
All looks good - its satisfying being able to still eat fresh stuff in Feb- had a lovely leek and potatoe soup yesterday ;D
I have to agree. Ours was only a boring old casserole but I got great satisfaction from knowing that all except the potatoes, which I've run out of, and the neck of lamb, was home grown. I was going to say free, but they were probably the most expensive in the land, after rent, fertiliser, cost of tools and greenhouse, fuel to collect them ... etc. ;D
Geoff.
What a picture, wish I could grow carrots like that...
bon appetit!
I'm only showing off because I haven't ever been able to grow carrots before.. this new allotment is very light, by our standards, and has an eight foot brick wall (South facing)... had to take it when it came up !
;D
