Title: Gardeners World Magazine
Post by: jo9919 on February 03, 2007, 20:07:04
I'm sure I read a post on here recently (I hope I didn't dream it) directing us to a thread on moneysaving expert for a free copy of Gardeners World.

I've tried doing a search but can't find anything.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Jo.

Thanks again Hex.

I've rung up and ordered my copy. Well....I've ordered 3 actually for £1. No catch at all. They will send a completely free copy, or else they take your bank details and will bill you £1 for 3 copies. You are under no obligation to continue the subscription, you just need to ring and cancel if you don't want any more after the 3.

I think it's usually £3.10 per copy. The magazine is posted to your home too.

If you shop at Tescos & have a club card you can get GW mag for about £9 worth of vouchers. As deals  are worth 4X the face value of the vouchers.
We had a meal at the slug & lettuce recently paid for with vouchers. The meal came to £50. 69. including puds. Four of us ate out for 69p + a tip.

I hope that's for an annual subscription and not one copy for £9.00  ;)

I use all of my tescos vouchers for RAC cover so have to look elsewhere for mags  ;).

try www.magazineservice.co.uk for various half price magazines for six months - click on gardening and you can get gardens illustrated, gardeners world, the english garden and grow your own half price for six months.

If you hate ringing up you can simply cancel the direct debit with your bank to stop the subscription after the first £1 has gone, you will still get your three mags.
