Hi there
I'm not bit into brussel sprouts and have only ever bought and cooked them for DH. As I child I called them "ashballs". However, I braved it last week-end and tasted one and it was really good. I have therefore done some homework and rather than buy whole packets of each of the seeds I would like to have a taste tester before going the whole hog.
Has anyone got a pinch of the following brussel sprout seeds for me to try out. My swap list is on the board if you want to swap for anything.
Brussel Sprouts â€" Peer Gynt, Mallard and Roger, Fortress and (French variety) - Noisette - which apparently is the nicest nuttiest tasting one?
Kind regards
Jitterbug
I think I may have some.
will need to check at home, but I bought a packet the other day.
I hate them but OH likes them so I promised I'd grow a couple for him for his xmas dinner ::) and should have lots of seed left over!
I'm sure I've got some Noisette, but none of the others. I have some Red Rubine that might tempt you despite your research. PM me.

Opened my brand new packet of Noisette and it was empty ??? Took a few days to get hold of the supplier but they then replaced the packet quickly so the Noisette did get sent off in the end.

I've grown Peer Gynt for years but the seed is being discontinued in the UK. I think I have bought some on e-bay, but only time will tell. Would you like to share the details of your supplier?. Thanks, Sid. :)
Hi my Peer Gynt is a left over from a previous year, dated best before 12/2007. I wasn't going to use them ,I prefer a bigger sprout I can pop them in the post if they are your favourites, there is about 25 seeds. XX Jeannine
Thanks for the offer of the sprouts Jeannine , I'll try those from e-bay and hope they don't grow into caulis or something else. ;D
