That time of year again so here's a repeat of a few pic's.
Cut top and bottom off a bean tin. Cut one end so you remove the lip. That is the bottom of the pot when you make it so you can remove paper from pot.
Fold over a lip of paper for the top.
Roll paper almost all the way round.
Run a smear of wallpaper paste or such down the edge of the paper at pic 2.
Roll it together.
Tuck paper into base.
You have a pot.
If you want taller pots, like for sweetpeas, here's an easy to make adjustable one from 2" plastic pipe.
I just save toilet rolls which are ready made little pots for sweet peas and beans
I save loo rolls too but do your's grow??? Some of mine have all white furry stuff on urrgh!
White furry stuff:
No problem.....plant with it on...it's only a nature thing.
I also use loo rolls but I don't have enough and I'm not asking round the street!
I use a slightly different method that doesn't require pasting see link.

White mould is not an issue increase the air movement & it will go although it is completely natural & won't harm your plants if you leave it.
Got nasty black sooty stuff round the t. rolls with my sweet peas in but they seem to be o.k.
Tried a few of the pots kk just the job (didn't even use paste). ;D ;D ;D
broad beans have just germinated in saved toilet rolls
I have loo rolls, a bag hangs behind bathroom door for collections. I start after Xmas hee hee love free pots.
i know this topic was dropped a while ago but wanted to add another way to make paper pots:

I used the first link this year and just came across the second link a little while ago.
Very origami, thifasmom! They both look substantial enough to hold a whole garden :o ;D
they are the perfect size for potting up after sprouting in cells, till the plants need planting out saved me a fortune. ;D
I particularly liked, in the 'pigs' one, that he gave a left-handed handy hint 8)I expect it will still be raining tomorrow (sigh) so I'll have a play around :D
Something to do in front of the tv tonight I think ;D
