Title: Paper pots

That time of year again so here's a repeat of a few pic's.

Cut top and bottom off a bean tin. Cut one end so you remove the lip. That is the bottom of the pot when you make it so you can remove paper from pot.
Fold over a lip of paper for the top.
Roll paper almost all the way round.
Run a smear of wallpaper paste or such down the edge of the paper at pic 2.
Roll it together.
Tuck paper into base.
You have a pot.

If you want  taller pots, like for sweetpeas, here's an easy to make adjustable one from 2" plastic pipe.

I just save toilet rolls which are ready made little pots for sweet peas and beans

I save loo rolls too but do your's grow??? Some of mine have all white furry stuff on urrgh!

No problem.....plant with it on...it's only a nature thing.
I also use loo rolls but I don't have enough and I'm not asking round the street!

White mould is not an issue increase the air movement & it will go although it is completely natural & won't harm your plants if you leave it.

Got nasty black sooty stuff round the t. rolls with my sweet peas in but they seem to be o.k.

I have loo rolls, a bag hangs behind bathroom door for collections. I start after Xmas hee hee love free pots.

they are the perfect size for potting up after sprouting in cells, till the plants need planting out saved me a fortune. ;D

I particularly liked, in the 'pigs' one, that he gave a left-handed handy hint 8)I expect it will still be raining tomorrow (sigh) so I'll have a play around :D
