Has anybody tried these or got any tips.
Several of us have grown them Okra... I bought in some slips and tried them in a variety of places, under black poly, in a greenhouse. Do a search and you will get back to the threads...
;D
mine are on the windowsill in a glass of water, waiting for the slips ;D
And mine. :)
Mine are on the windowsill too but the tops feel squidgy/rotton... should i chuck and try again? did i put the wrong end in the water?
someone else ? recommends putting them somewhere warm in compost, I think, I might try that if this doesn't work ;D
thanks for the advice - has anybody had much of a crop, as I understand they are difficult to grow.

crikey! not many of them to the pound!! :o
where did you source the slips, dad?
mine are still in the cupboard whilst I think about putting them on the windowsill PLAN which windowsill will be best to site them on.
O.K. you lot,
Want to try these this season. Full SP please. Slips etc. & onward.
Sorry,
Didn't see Manic's post.
Don't rush in where experts tread!!
It was just under 5lbs SS and I'm fairly sure it was Marshalls or Chase... I'll be buying slips again...
;D
