Title: Summer Jasmine.
Post by: telboy on January 24, 2007, 23:02:45
Hi All,
Concerned about some cuttings I took last year.
All placed in pots with 'polycovers'.
They've been put on various window placements for light, so thought the covers should come off. When done, the shoots whither. When replaced - all back O.K.
What do I do now?

Hi Telboy.  I've never taken Jasmine cuttings so I'm afraid this is just a guess.  I think you are right to remove the covers now that the cuttings have rooted.  My guess is that they are withering because the room is too warm.  I suggest you move them to a frost free place such as a cold frame or unheated greenhouse if you have one.

My Jasmine self-seeds everywhere so if you lose them I'd be happy to send you some seedlings if you PM me your details.
