i want to try sweetcorn this year and have been told to start it of in pots. does anyone know the best time to start growing it thanks.

I start mine off in a heated propogator at the beginning of April

I agree with those planting times,and I would recommend earthing them up when you start to see those `crow`s feet `roots.
