.........not that I expect perfection.

Fine all through the day, but all the 15-25 bits of garbage that it picks up overnight appear in the Inbox in the morning.

Now WHY??

She seems to get Her own lot of clag. And despite my turning off Her preview thing to, hopefully,  reduce spam input, She still gets preview!!

You're gonna have to go the Google route, Tim.
Loaded it last week ( a nudge from on here) and it's really good. It's not onlt spam free E-mail there's quite a few goodies to add on if you want them. If you want a link to try it, send me a PM and I'll send you a request code.
