Post by: cambourne7 on January 09, 2007, 08:16:47
Hi

Just noticed that one of my fav ebay sellers is back up and running

They have lots of 25 packets of seeds with a starting price of 99 pence and a £1 postage  there called eden hendry and if your just getting started i would strongly recomend you bagging a couple of starter packs.
example Item number: 260069914032 contains
Pea - Feltham First
Brussel Sprout - Evesham Special
Chicory - Brussel Witloof
Lettuce - trocadero
Carrot - Autumn King 2
Parsley
Radish - French Breakfast 3
Broccoli - Early Purple Sprouting
Swede - Best of All
Aubergine - Black Beauty
Onion - Utah Jumbo White
Courgette - Green Bush
Turnip - Manchester Market
Spring onion - White LIsbon
Calabrese - Green-sprouting
Kale - Thousand Head
Fennel - Common
Basil - Sweet Genovese
Tomato - Gardeners Delight
Waltham Butternut Squash
Coriander
sweet Pepper - Californian Wonder
Chilli Pepper - Hot Banana
Leek - musselburgh
Parsnip - tender & True

I usualy email them a list and get them to give me a price ( ok i did it once and it was a great cheap way to get my lottie up an running).

Anyone else got an ebayer they can recomend?

I have used Orkney Vegetable and Garden Seeds (eBay seller name skaill) twice now, reasonable prices, quick delivery, and some unusual varieties.

Have also used eBay seller www_specialplants_co_uk for onion sets and garlic.

For a treat, Earthworks shop (seller name sameearthtworks) sells lovely journals with fern pattern on that would make a great allotment journal/ nice pressie.
