Title: A painful reminder
Post by: Mrs Ava on April 25, 2004, 22:44:24
Got down to the lottie this morning and worked away on my new plot until lunch time, digging and digging and digging.  Yup I ache, but wow did I achieve loads and now at last I am down to the last small section.  I am chuffed.  However, as the afternoon drifted into evening I began to sting.  Wow did I catch the sun today on my shoulders arms and back!  Serves me right for baring flesh with no cream on, didn't even give it a thought, sunburn in April for goodness sakes!  So, be warned allotmenteers and gardeners, that sun up there is mighty strong, even on an April morn, use that sun cream and bung on a hat!  Now, who is going to pop round and rub some cream into my shoulders?  :-\
