A couple of questions, How big are the flowers? and Are they bulbs?
The flowers are just over an inch(old money sorry dont do new)on 6 to 7 inch stems.I honestly cant remember whether they were seeds or bulbs.
Romulea crocea is a possibility. Mediterranean bulb, flowers now.
Yes they were bulbs Eric.

I think that they are "Romulea Macowanii"now that you have pointed me in the right direction.Wonder where on earth i bought them!
Wondered about Chlidanthus fragrans.
And how about this one?

No idea at all, never planted it or sowed the seeds where it is, in the middle of Sedum spurium.
Oh dear Eric sorry i cant help .I always look to you as being the "Expert" on naming plants.
Found it, typical looking for something else, it is a small flower of Romulea bulbocodium. Would still like to know how it got there. Last time I tried to grow this bulb was 6 or7 years ago!
Is it just me that can see, in Budgiebreeders original post, a picture of three budgies??????
