Title: Where can I get an allotment diary
Post by: kt. on January 03, 2007, 18:31:40
I have read threads on here that people have purchased a 5yr diary / planner of sorts. An allotment diary. Where can I buy one?

I know some people make their own too.

That's just the ticket SS. Apart from you and me (I'll be making do with a notepad ;D) my S-i-Law would be a very happy recipient. Noted.

There's a selection at Amazon KT. Not as expensive as the Dodo one, but much more trad. Dodo products are very special, satisfying and fun.

you can get cheaper diaries kt, especially at this time of year.
But they're not dodo pads :P
This diary is designed to accumulate experience over the years :)
Ideally someone will buy one for me - if not, I'll splash out ;D

I've had this in the January sales for £8, might be worth keeping in mind for next year (unless you're feeling very flush!)

i have a larger then normal workload that requires me living in my diary for most of this year, so i have decided not to include my allotment stuff in the diary ( actualy an a4 filofax which is about 2 inches thick already ) and instead use my outlook diary for the allotment.

That way i can set up reminders and i have created a hidden web page i export it to ( or plan to ) which means i can access my to do list from anywhere.

Anyone else using outlook?

Boots where I live (Bridgwater, Somerset) had a nice one in the christmas gift sale £5 (it was £10), they had quite a few left although the Taunton branch didn't have them at all.  Before Christmas Asda had them as I got given one from there from my mum as a pressie.

Also, the Dodo one is on amazon for £10.52, I'm quite tempted as I wanted an excuse to order some other books on there, but at this rate I'll have a whole drawer full of gardening diaries!

I picked a diary up from The Works (bookshop) for £1.50p, plenty big enough and good enough for the allotment and it also has a full page for every day.

I just checked on Amazon and it says delivery 5-8 days so they must have new stock available, they also have the same book available through their other sellers list, lowest price £9.99 (not inc p&p)
