from 8th january, netto's getting seeds, flower and veggie in for 19p per packet
just looked on the web site, spring's just around the corner ;D
ooo, excellent, a new Netto has just opened up on the same road as my work ! I'll definitely be taking a look.
Thanks for the tip
Got a load of these last year, the seeds are as good as any, and at 19p a pack, you could fill the allotment with veggies and the back garden with flowers for a tenner! ;D ;D
my problem is that i am 35 miles away from nearest store :-(
Great news - will be filling my basket
Has anyone tried Netto seeds? Have they all come up true? A friend of mine bought some from Aldi's last year and they weren't what they should've been, she was asking if I knew about Nettos but I haven't used any.
Oooh, a new Netto opened last summer only about half a mile from me... I look forward to seeing the seeds when they come in.
I bought lots of bulbs from them last year - daffs, crocuses and allium for my front garden - and they were really cheap too.
Cambourne - I would happily fetch you some and post them if you know what you're after?
Val, the seeds Netto sold for 19p a packet last year were D.T.Browns, not even rebranded as Netto's own. Since Browns are a very reputable company the seeds were first class. A true bargain ;).
I bought them at Netto last year and the seeds were very good value. I was there by chance just as they were putting them out so I had first choice of everything! The ones I used germinated well.
I'd also heard of D.T.Brown as a seed supplier.
This year they are seeds from another supplier I've never heard of, but at 19p they must be worth getting.
Who is this years supplier then vee?.
Country Value seeds, apparently. Nowt obvious on t'web, like..... ???
Thanks folks I will pass the info on.
Cheers Scousers you are true bargain hunters keep up the good work. :D ;D ;D ;D :-*
Don't forget - today's the day!
I'll be going down at lunchtime with my fiver! ;D
d**n my enthusiasm!!
The website should have said "in store from whenever the numpty in the back can be arsed to fill the rack"!
Back again tomorrow then.. :-\
They were in at mine. I was there for 9.30 as they were putting the box out, and so were quite a few other people lol.

They really are a bargain as I've just seen exactly the same brand in a garden centre today and they were all 79p. :o :o
Hi Moonbeam
as far as i know they are Nation Wide
We have them up here on Merseyside but there are areas that they have not yet penetrated !
Just got my seeds :) but they are going fast, some of the pegs were empty and there was only one packet of Enorma runners left.
