is anyone else growing this herb? it's a digestive helper and much used on fatty foods where i come from - but not much luck in the shops. i see kings seeds sell it - but if anyone has some seeds spare, i would be a most grateful recipient (saves me buying a big bag of seeds of which very little will be used).
i think it's a perennial also?

I know the stuff, it's a common weed. But I've never come across it as a herb. I have a reprint of George Graves 'Hortus Medicus' of 1834 and it's not in that, so it can't have been important in medicine, in Britain anyway. It does seem to have been used in witchcraft, and as a substitute tea. Where are you from, Svea?

it's a very common herb to use when cooking goose or duck, for instance.
I'll keep my eyes open for it in that case. What part of the plant do you use?
you treat it like thyme in this country, i.e. you would pick small sprigs with the leaves, then dry those whole. when cooking, add a few sprigs to the food and later remove the stalks.
I agree a very interesting plant, i use it as moxa sticks for healing. Great on rheumatism, arthritis.
I will keep my eyes open for seeds. It does smell awful, cannot imagine it with duck.
