All these non-teachers. Work 9-5 and have bloody long holidays ;D
redclanger (working) and will only be off 13 days :( ;)
Being your own boss certainly has it's advantages.....but then I won't be getting paid during my hols. :'(

Kids,of course. We need the time off to recuperate, else we'd all be in psychiatric hospitals, and the schools would have to close.
I've been ill again this week, but back in tomorrow, finish on Friday and back on the second! Lost two days last week when the boiler broke!
::)
The way the kids are at out school at the moment Robert, I sympathise. They are all wound up so tightly that I don't know what is going to give first......the kids or the staff!
I'm working boxing day (2am start) and new years eve 18.30 to 6.30 in the morning :'(
I just knew there were good things about being retired :P I am pleased that Lorna jnr has got six days off over the Christmas period. She will need those days after inviting all the family for various meals/days, I think it will be 19 for Boxing Day tea. Good fun passing my table/chairs/cutlery/crockery etc over the fence.
Lorna
... you guys are making me jealous! :(
Yes Lorna, there are good reasons for retirement to enjoy, but i do not think my children know that, mention not coming to Mum & Dads for christmas dinner (as i do to wind them up), and they all need counselling full time Hahahaha!!!.
Mind you i would not want it any other way, would i Samantha? Hahahaha!!.
Mary (Rosebud) Can't beat a family together ;D
