This was growing in a shady spot in the garden when we moved in. It's quite tough, still growing strongly despite 7 years of neglect. Does anyone know what it can be used for? ??? i did read once that you can use it to sweeten food... Any recipes?
I've just swapped for some seed for sweet cicely, I want to use it to sweeten rhubarb and gooseberries, according to suffolk herbs that's one of the uses, don't know if that's what you've got though :D
the seeds and pods can be eaten like sweets....liquoiricey sweets! :)
