I bought a torch that does not need batteries. Thought it would be good to keep in glove box of car. You shake it for 30 seconds and supposed to get 5minutes light power. Not so good. It dims as the time goes.
Pleased I only paid £5 with petrol on offer at a fuel garage recently. The same product is on sale for £25 each or £45 for 2!. Wouldn't recommend it folks >:(
Santa is bringing the children dynamo torches which they wind up and bright LED light. They are amazingly bright and stay like if for ages!
Got them from www.hawkin.com.
I got a good one from R. Dyas, wind it up, solar panel, rechargable batteries, spare bulb, It also has a radio, got it 3 years ago and still going strong all for £9.99.
oh! Hawkins!!...haven't thought about them in years. Used to have their catalogue. It's GREAT for little gifts for children old and young ;)
I've got a Freeplay LED wind up torch for emergencies. Our power goes off lots, usually just after the batteries in the old torch have died.
So far, it's really good
I have a Ranger Freeplay radio for the plot ;D Tis very good.
