Best played after a rubbish day when you can imagine "real" faces on them!
BTW my sister a sprout HATER did better than me, which reminds me, must put em on the boil Monday for Christmas!

Yes yes yes DP ;D on alternate Christmases spent by No.1 son at Ex-OHs I used to help out at the local Sally Army. Sprouts were
always prepared thus: take off ALL green outers, so there's only a wrinkly pale yellow ball; cut a DEEP cross nearly all the way through each sprout; fill aluminium vat with cold water; add sprouts, bring slowly to the boil, simmer for 2 hours, serve directly out of vat so you get a water puddle on the plate (helps to dilute thick gravy). Some traditions are priceless ::)
;D ;D Sprout!
I called my sister to see if they were joining us for Christmas this year, because I said " I need to get the sprouts on"! ;D ;D
am I on my own, I love sprouts
steamed properly, of course :)
Neither my wife nor I are keen sprout eaters, although I think perhaps we should, because I believe they are extremely nutritious. For Christmas day, we will be finishing off a frozen pack of sprouts with walnuts, that we bought for Christmas last year ...
We love sprouts here but they must be super fresh. :P
