Title: Painful shoulder and neck
Post by: floraldi on November 27, 2006, 17:34:39
I am desperately trying to find a way of using my computer in comfort
without causing horrendous pain, mainly in my shoulder.  If you saw me now you would laugh as I have lowered the chair and my right arm is resting on a cushion while I type but it feels very awkward - and slow.
Has anyone had similar problems and can give me some tips?

Part of my job is to do VDU assessments for my users. There are many things that can affect your health when using computers.

have a look at the following

this will be especially useful if you use a PC at work

Hi florald - poor you.  Was just going to reply but glow777 beat me to it.  Could be the same link but have a look at this - there might be some tips if you check out the other links suggested. http://www.direct.gov.uk/Employment/Employees/HealthAndSafetyAtWork/HealthAndSafetyAtWorkArticles/fs/en?CONTENT_ID=10026668&chk=9O2Rhm
Hope you find something useful.
