Well, you have to find a use for the left-over mash??

Yes - tonight, & the rest into the freezer.

Taste? Case of wait & see - different recipe, using our Sweet Aji & Jalapeno, & fresh Galangal, Wild Salmon & Pollock, & Shallots. And much Parsley!

Thought I was lucky in finding 'fresh G' in a jar in Tesco the other day. Told No2 in London not to bother about getting more of the real stuff from Her local 'Asian'. BIG mistake!! If you want a mouthful of acetic acidy - otherwise tasteless - unchewable fibrous mass - go buy it!! They will get a STIFF letter tomorrow.

Judgement day.  Probably the best ever!

But, next time, 2 tsp Shrimp Paste might be a good addition. (12 cakes)

YUM!  I love home made fishcakes, but the other half isn't keen, neither are the kids, so they are my special treat.

Emma - have to do all my fishy things before dawn. Even when everything's scrubbed clean, someone comes in and says 'I smell fish'!!

My sympathy!
