Title: Swell beans!
Post by: supersprout on November 24, 2006, 12:17:47
This year's borlotti were left to dry on the vine, so we never saw them at their fattest ... until after the overnight soak!

Wow they look so pretty! I've never thought about growing beans (apart from the usual broads/runners etc) so i'm fascinated - i'm a veggetarian and usually buy mine either dried or canned - are they easy to grow? kitten x

A doddle!
Pole beans yield more than dwarf.
And you can leave them for ages to dry on the vine when other jobs are more important.
And watch Colombo whilst podding :-[ ;D
