Title: Indoor birdwatching
Post by: Grandma on November 24, 2006, 11:21:16
Just seeing if anything I was taught last night - re posting pics - has sunk in!(http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/3456/insidepyracanthajg1.jpg) (http://imageshack.us)
I THINK I'VE DONE IT - and ALL BY MYSELF! (Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks - I'm 63 today and find all this hi tech stuff a bit bewildering!)
This pic, taken this morning from inside, is for lazy birdwatchers. I can sit indoors and all the birds that arrive to scoff the berries sit and watch me! Just beyone the pyracantha and to the right, the white, fluffy bits are the flowers of a fatsia japonica. On 21 November two red admirals visited and today a bumble bee, a honey bee, a hover fly, a house fly and a wasp all came to feed.
Now that I can do this you will probably get thoroughly sick of me and my pics!

63 today?   HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA!   And a fab picture to boot!  You should be proud of mastering your new technological trickery, and keep posting them pics, I'm sure lots of other people love to see photos from other members, as shirlton and I do.   ;)

Happy birthday and well done! Now if we can just teach you how to reduce them in size a little (for us poor Dial up slow types) life would be even greater.
Lessons available as PM,s if required.

Thank you all for your birthday wishes! It wasn't the most subtle hint, was it?  ;) Any help any one can offer in getting my postings tidied up a bit would be most appreciated. (By the way, what's a PM?? ???)

A PM is a Personal Message. Look at the top Right hand side of the page just above the date and slightly to the left of Amazon Shop. The word Messages appears. If you click on it, it takes you to where pople can get in touch with you privately.
