If you watched the BBC Planet Earth episode last night (Sunday 19th Nov), the scene showing the seedlings coming up, after a falling tree had created a sunny jungle clearing, was of special interest to us. Tim Shepherd from the BBC created a special studio to film the time lapse photography. After discussions and advice in our office with Peter about appropriate seeds that could be used for the programme, many of the seeds used in filming were supplied by JungleSeeds including Schizolobium, Ochroma (Balsa wood) and other seeds from our rain forest mix. The program is repeated next Saturday 27th Nov on BBC2 at 7pm if you missed it. The program is excellent viewing for Jungle enthusiasts.

nice! i've bought seeds from them before. i must say they are a very unique and fantastic sight. some of the seeds are expensive....but no more than they should be as they're so rare.
But yea i didn't know they were supplied from jungle seeds. good to see some inside into it.
I love planet earth...and like you i really enjoyed last night's episode aswell.
