They look most interesting.  By coincidence, we're staying near Frome this weekend.  I might just suggest a visit to the "Walled Garden" would be a good way to start Saturday morning.   ;D

COLIN, JANE & MATT ARE AN ACE FAMILY. In the same way as Real Seeds are.

Potatoes - only as fast as their suppliers who supply you.

I know I've said it before, but we've used them since they started - elsewhere - especially for back-up plants. We sow half & buy half.

Id definately reccomemend the company.  Id say they give a good service, which is quite hard to come by these days.  How is it our country has a couldnt care less attitude to customer service ?

Lovely company -- and passionate about the stuff they grow and sell.

And expert, too... I suspect they've forgotten more about tomatoes, chillies and spuds than most of us put together will ever know.

Never had any propblems with receipt times, Simon, either.

We went to see them last weekend, on a lovely cold bright morning.  The walled garden is superb, albeit a bit empty at this time of year!

They are indeed very nice people.  We bought some seeds, and took a catalogue.

For those of you interested in potatoes, they have a big range of interesting spuds.  Pricing is typically around £3.50 for a 3kg pack, going up to around £4.50 for some of the organic ones.  Postage to mainland UK is £5.50 up to 30kg, more for Highlands, IOM, etc.  They suggest ordering by the end of the year to avoid disappointment.  So if those prices appeal, get on their site and order a catalogue asap!

I have just been looking at the website, I have been to Longleat so many times and didn't know they were there.  We are off to Centerparcs there early next year so hopefully I can pop in then.

My family will wish I hadn't found out this information.... ;D ;D

Are they affiliated to Tuckers?

I think there is some supply connection, potatoes may be sent from tuckers on behalf of Simpsons seeds.  This was the case last year with my order.  Everything was good quality and arrived in reasonable time.
