Awwww cute. Still think he should have a warm coat on, especially today its freezing. Well done at getting the posting sorted. See all the effort was worth it ;) ;D
That's brill budgiebreeder. ;) Just never think really of all the delicate stages they have to go thru or how many chicks you have to look after at any one time, hope you keep us posted regularly I'm getting hooked!
I noticed on your previous pic of this little 'un there were 4 more eggs in the nest...did they hatch? or is he on his own?
I once had a lutino hen, who for no apparent reason, went into six nest boxes and killed 16 chicks within minutes...the only thought I had was that she hadn't paired up that season...after that incident I put each pair into individual breeding cages then kept the young in a nursery flight until they were eight weeks old.
Thats it, I can't look at that naked baby anymore....knitting needles at the ready, scarf and hat coming up! :P
Oh bless how long untill fully feathered and how many did you have?
ahhhh, i was wondering if the babies were here yet! how cute is that bird?
Wait until you see them now.Put your knitting needles away EJ.I will take their piccie next week probably,in their Sunday Best.Bet that you wont want Budgieburgers then.
