Title: Fox
Post by: teresa on November 09, 2006, 00:02:52
Just been out with the dogs for the nightly tinkle, and saw a young fox ran across the road. It stopped in the middle of road when it saw us and then carried on and run into the spinny.
You sure know autumn is here in the village when they are about looking for something to eat this time of night.

Think I've got one living on my plot. I've found a couple of holes as the nettles have been cleared back, and I noticed a couple of patches of flattened grass with a really nasty smell.

Wouldn't mind so much if the holes were at the edge of the plot, but they are right in the middle :-\

well I dont think thats a fox more like a rabbit, fill the hole in and leave loose soil around it.  keep an eye on the ground to see if any action taken place. You should see foot prints if they are still using it?
