Well as many of you know, we have finally moved! ;D
After spending all the hours possible knocking down walls and renovating, thoughts are now beginning to turn to my garden!(OH says it is entirely mine, mine I tell ya.........mwahahahahahaha)
So here are some "befores", it may be years till the "afters", and I am sure I will be asking for ideas and advice.
Unfortunately it is North facing, but still gets a fair bit of sun.

After a strim and tidy!
Blank canvass ready and waiting ;D ;D
Congratulations DP, as you say it's all to play for ... and nicely private by the look of those trees :)
Love those girlies, was looking for pics of chooks ??? ;)
SSx
ooh look very nice i think. you've done well and cleared it all out. you could maybe have one of those round seat things under the tree....or plant a few crocuses or cyclamen under there.....the possibilities are endless. i think it's a nice little garden :)
What a great canvass to work on! Wish you lots of luck Debs. You finally let them out from behind the wallpaper ;D Lovely!
MB! Where you been???
The paste ran outta stick :'( :'( But I do have one more room to do........................................ ;) :o ;D
Lovely garden, how about some pics of the house & the wall paper? :D
Hmmm, what she doesn't tell you is there is a mature peach tree in that there garden and she was scoffing peaches through the summer months!
I am itching to get round there DP and nosey nosey nosey!! :-*
PLEASE bring your spade when you come EJ, and I think it is time to prune the peach ;D
Marymary, I have loads of before and after piccies, would hate to bore everyone! ;) ;D
Wahaj, we were thinking the same thing re the seat around the tree, I fancy some bluebells under it, I loves native bluebells.
Sprout, if I could figure out where to put em, i would get a couple of feathered "girlies" eldest is desperate for me to get some, 'spect the local fox is too! ;D ;) And it is VERY private, not overlooked at all which is a BIG plus!
We are never bored by piccies. :) :)
Just let us know a day and we will be there, you know that! :-*
Those poor girls - another room - they've only just managed to wash off the last lot of paste :-[
Hope you don't do what I did. Great friend had beautiful Belgium bantam cockerel which we called Hercule but he couldn't crow. After many weeks of me dementedly going around his run crowing, he finally managed it. Think they cursed me right up until he met the pot! ::)
I am very envious DP. I would love to have the challenge of a new garden - but as I don't want to move I'm stuck with what I've got!
Hey! Only just seen this thread - great stuff, DottyP 8) Looking forward to seeing pix as the garden progresses. Have you moved far from where you were before, btw?
Hi DP. Hope you have many happy years in your new home. I was going to ask the same as Lish. Are you still in the same area? I know son John really enjoyed touring round all the villages, he reckons when he wins the lottery he is going to move back where he spent some of his childhood. Lots of pics please, we definitely won't get bored.
