When I come onto the opening page, the print size is absolutely huge. I mean, when I scroll around this jumble of huge letters, I can find the "A4A Forum" but it fills the whole screen. I double click that to get here, and then everything is normal again.
What can I do please?
Hi,
What browser are you using?
firefox / internet exporer / something else ?
Cheers
Dan
Internet Explorer, I don't know what number, but it's only a year old.
You can check the version by clicking on 'Help' (on the toolbar at the top) then 'About'.
While you are at it, check by clicking 'View' (on the toolbar at the top) then 'Text size' that you haven't got 'Largest' ticked.
If it is ticked try ticking one of the other settings like 'Medium' instead
Me too - if the forum is to be readable!
Ho Hum. Well, I have IE V6.
And my print size is set on largest. So I can see it all comfortably.
This means to view the Wiki, I have to drop print size and squint. Not nice.
Is there anything else I can do please??
It all used to work wonderfully well until just over a week ago.
I can replicate the problem with IE6 by setting the view->text option on largest, but don't have the same problem with Firefox which is the browser I normally use. Hope this enables Dan to narrow down the possibilities. Perhaps it's the character encoding? I'm afraid that I can't think of anything else. ???
Thank you. It's obviously just me, so it's not worth the bother. As long as I can get to the forum that's my priority.
Had not noticed this thread, sorry.
It is to do with the style sheet in use, I'm slowly trying to tie them up so the text size is the same all over, but it is hard!
Dan
Thanks :-*
