I am green (get it?) with envy !!! ;D

You say 'allotments' not allotment. How many have you got ( a whole site perhaps?)

I have two allotments Richard, and Tim not so much a novice really, been at it for around twenty years or so, but I am still learning thanks to people like you and the others on the forums.

Perhaps the second allotment I took on a couple of years back threw you.

Prior to then I still had two plots but they were split apart by the plot access track. (see picture)

When a plot along side one of them became available, I took it on and gave my other  plot to a real novice, and I started again.

This is the one I gave away.

The one I took on, is the one with the 8ftx6ft greenhouse at the top of the picture, the second one I have is to the left of it, you can just see the end of my 28ftx8ft greenhouse.

Hope that clarifies things.........A

Certainly an example to us all!  Can't imagine ours ever being that tidy - our ground never seems to be FLAT!  Still, so long as the stuff grows I suppose ...

Wicker, your lottie, whilst not flat has to go a long way to match ther slope on the allotment site near to me. SSteeply sloping would describe it. Whilst my garden is sloping i do at least have a flatish area in the middle for my veg plot, so i have not been tempted to get a lottie as well.  ;D

Big G - you KNOW I know how old you are!!

Like I know how many posts Richard has achieved - without a prompt - just look it up in the list - 651 the last time I read it?

It's 20 years since we had 2 lotties - PLUS what we have now. There's a time & place for everything! = Tim
