One of the most unusual skies I have ever seen - bordering on the borealis for colours.

The rings of the 'flying saucers' were like prisms - every colour of the rainbow. But just couldn't get it right.

And on digi-zoom, couldn't even focus.

Well Tim, i think your pictures capture the effect of the sky quite admirably. The certainly show enough to give us the idea.

You certainly get some wonderfull skies this time of year dont you? One upside of all this clea frosty weather I suppose. ;D ;)

Tim, it's lovely to see your photos, I had to go to the station to collect my daughter at teatime last night and was trying not to look in my mirror at the beautiful sky too much, wishing I had my camera on me, so I am glad you managed to capture it. :)
