these were from bude in cornwall, early october, beautiful and also quite warm, what a smashing indian summer :D

Manic, I was just going to remark upon the original sea thing, to the effect that I SO love the sea - as much of my childhood - & relatives - was/were centered on Bude.

And then looked at yours - !!

Grandparents' home was in Northcott Mouth - just north of Bude - & both my parents were in the Bude area before they married. One lot in Poughill.

And where's Sam from Bude - no one will remember her?

we've been to bude for the last four years, just for a week then down to mevagissey for another week, love it down there, it's our spiritual home, never seem to have been able to move there though. We've been going to cornwall now for 33 years, Ray for 42, wonderful place :)
